At Deer Park Pet Hospital, we take great pride in providing your pet with excellent medical care. However, there are times when specialist clinics and hospitals can cater better to your companion animal's needs and care. If that's the case, we will refer your pet to other clinics to give your pet the specialized treatment they need. What should I expect from the referral process?

To make the process as easy as possible, our team will ensure we send all the necessary documents, such as test results, diagnosis or current treatment plans, along with the referral forms to the referred clinic. Our veterinarians will also be available to communicate with the specialist or referred veterinarian to discuss your pet's case.
